Passig Islet is one of the must-visit destinations down south. The islet lies on the waters of Barangay Bato in Sta Cruz Davao del Sur, a perfect place for those chasing some peace and relaxation.

This elongated-shaped islet features clear waters and a diversity of beautiful aquatic resources. Its white sand is not refined as those of Boracay but the color gives the islet a real tropical beach touch.  Read More:  https://www.davaoeagle.com/2018/02/passig-islet-slice-paradise-davao-del-sur/

Passig Islet can be found at Brgy. Bato, Sta. Cruz, Davao Del Sur. It is a small man-made island that is close to an hectare of white sand that showcase various sea creatures such as sea weeds, clown fish and other exotic marine animals.

This islet has once become the base of the coastguard and a hang out place of the locals way back years ago until the provincial government has seen the potential of this small islet to be an aqua eco-park tourist attraction.

You need to ride a small motorized ‘banca‘ from the port of Barangay Bato just near the highway of Sta. Cruz to reach this islet. It’s just a 5 minutes ride from the mini port going to the islet and will only cost you 20Php(per pax roundtrip). Docking at the islet makes you anxious to do anything you would like to.

To complement the beauty of the islet and to package it as a tourist destination, amenities such as cottages, bathrooms, comfort rooms and even function hall has been built to enhance the relaxing mood and taste of beach leisure. Palm and tropical trees were aligned just right, adding beauty to the place.   Read More:   http://tibinglakawero.blogspot.com/2013/02/passig-islet-aqua-eco-park-resort.html

Passig Islet Aqua-Eco Park Resort lies on the waters of Sitio Bato in Santa Cruz, Davao Del Sur. This is 15 minutes away from the nearby City of Digos. The municipality of Santa Cruz, on the other hand, is the nearest town of Davao Del Sur from Davao City.

I used to call this place before as a secret beach hidden away from the clamoring sound of the Big City. In fact, on my first visit here, I described it as a secret beach haven kept by a few from the crowd craving for beach escape. Today, two years after that visit, the name Passig is widely known in the region.

Few years back, Passig Islet used to be a very tiny white islet open to the public. It was the locals’ favorite beach hang-out. Soon, the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur saw its eco-tourism potential and later they allocated funds to develop the Islet into a stunning and relaxing resort with an astonishing ambience of tropical leisure. Managed by the Provincial Tourism Office, today, it is one of the province’s pride and honor.  Read More:   https://thetravelteller.com/revisiting-passig-islet-aqua-eco-park-resort/
