The Municipality of Alabel celebrates it Foundation anniversary every 10th day of September. It is an annual celebration to commemorate the founding of the town. Together the people of Alabel also celebrates the Kasadyaan Festival. Kasadyaan means bliss, to gave an ideal representation of what is Alabel. Sarangani provincial officials and Alabel municipal and barangay officials release balloons as a sign of thanksgiving and continuous unity and cooperation during Alabel’s 43rd Foundation Anniversary and 13th Kasadyaan Festival Wednesday, September 10. Shamrock alternative/pop rock band from Manila entertains the crowd in celebration of the 17th Kasadyaan Festival and 47th Foundation Anniversary of Alabel on September 9. The concert was sponsored by Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao and Congressman Ruel Pacquiao and the local officials of the municipality of Alabel.
