Still not enough thrills for you? Make sure you visit the Macahambus Hill Cave and Gorge. Ask your Tourism officer about the Battle of Macahambus Hill, the first Filipino victory against the Americans. Admire the view from the 120-meter long Sky Bridge suspended 120 feet from the ground, and then take the 120-meter breathtaking zipline.

Macahambus Gorge is a spectacular cave loved by several tourists because of the natural wonders it offers. Macahambus Gorge, also known as Macahambus Cave, is a home for a colony of bats. This historical and beautiful site is perfect for the agile and fit travelers who are ready to take steps in the steep trail and stairs. You will enjoy taking selfies and photos of the verdant forest and façade of rocks while trekking the cave. Following the path, you will be brought to an open-air veranda where you can enjoy the surreal panoramic view of the Cagayan de Oro River and other fields of greeneries. There you will also have the experience to cross the hanging bridge – one that’s worth bragging to other adventure seekers. The Macahambus Gorge is probably a sinkhole. Visitors have to be in good healthy conditions, they will have do go down on a steep steel ladder and not to forget, to come up also. Hahahaha! Inside the gorge the humidity is terrible. At one side where the water comes out, it is dripping water from the rocks like it’s raining. The ground is muddy and slippery but all worth to see this wonder of nature. There is a path to the other side, passing the creek and giant Molave trees giving a fascinating view, where the water disappears again into the rocks. There are some steps to go higher up to another little cave. For sure this will make one sweat.  Read More:  https://www.sights-sounds-cagayandeoro.philippinen-reisen.com/2018/11/09/macambus-cave-macahambus-gorge/
