Kalivungan Festival

Kalivungan, a Maenuvu word which signifies “Get-together” or “festival is presently formally received as the merriment title for the yearly establishing commemoration of the Province of Cotabato. It is a weeklong festival featuring social introduction, ethnic moves, customs, music and local amusements displaying the one of a kind societies and conventions of Cotabateños. Timpupo Fruit Festival

The Timpupo Fruit Festival features its Fruit Galore wherein attendees are given the chance to eat all the fruits they can consume. Fruits such as durian, mangosteen, banana, rambutan, and lansones are some of the fruits served in the said event. Halad Festival

The Halad Festival, celebrated in honor of the town’s patron saint Sr. Sto. Niño, is highlighted by the colorful street dancing and parade competition.  It can be likened to Sinulog festival in Cebu and Ati-Atihan in Iloilo.

Groups from various towns in Cotabato Province as well as from Cotabato City and neighboring towns of Maguindanao Province troop annually to Midsayap to participate in the contest and try their luck to win the top prize.

As in previous years, the people of Midsayap prepares for the grand celebration of the town fiesta popularly known as Halad sa Sto. Katambolit Festival

The 3rd KaTambolit Festival in Libungan North Cotabato gathered thousands of tourists coming from adjacent municipalities of North Cotabato and nearby provinces in order to witness the different litson parade in the said municipality today.
