It is on the land of Cotabato. Considered as the highest place in the city, where there are many trees and giant rocks. Where you can breathe fresh air and your heart will be at ease for its peaceful vibe. Pedro Colina Hill is its name but people are more familiar calling it– PC Hill. Well it is no special place, neither grand festivals nor particular tourist spots you will witness. PC Hill is just a simple place and that’s what makes it extraordinary.

My mother’s family has been here since the time that it is still a developing place. When I say developing place, I mean the time when PC Hill is still a forest-like place or a plain hill—wherein there are many kinds of trees, plants and there aren’t still roads for vehicles or many people and houses. They’ve seen this place grow and develop into what it is now. Read More: https://myshiroonline.wordpress.com/2017/01/12/hill-youll-love/

The historic Pedro Carolina Hill or PC Hill, one of Cotabato City’s major landmarks has been transformed into a colorful hillside attraction in the city as over 100 houses had been painted with the bright and lively colors of the rainbow with a touch of painted accents of the city’s symbols such as crabs, gongs, and the guinakit.

This colorful transformation of PC Hill was funded by the Department of Tourism – Region 12 and implemented in cooperation with the City Government of Cotabato.

A military reservation area, PC Hill currently houses the offices of the Cotabato City Police Headquarters , the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, among others.  Read More: https://www.soxph.com/2018/03/colorful-pc-hill-in-cotabato-city.html

PC Hill to become a colorful hillside tourist attraction. The Pedro Colina Hill has been the major landmark of Cotabato City since time immemorial. It has played an vital role in the history of our ancestors and it is where our city has gotten its name.
This is why it is very important for us to give this landmark a new face and make it as glorious as it was before.
In this project, about 100 houses on the PC hill will be painted with the bright and lively colors of the rainbow with a touch of painted accents such as crabs, gongs, and the guinakit—the symbols of Cotabato City.   Read More: https://www.facebook.com/Atty.Cynthia/posts/pc-hill-to-become-a-colorful-hillside-tourist-attraction-the-pedro-colina-hill-h/1923875791274762/
