A refreshing way to beat the heat of summer during my trek to Mt. Napulak is by taking a dip in Bagacay Falls. It’s a 30 minute trek from Barangay Bagacay, Igbaras following thru the river. It’s a small falls with a 7-8 feet catch basin at the bottom. Cooling off from the blazing sun is absolutely divine! Read More: http://wanderlustmaldita.blogspot.com/2015/06/bagacay-falls.html

The Bagacay waterfall is known to be one of Negros Occidental’s hidden treasures, but for locals and some well-traveled adventurers, the picture perfect waterfall isn’t hidden anymore.

To witness its amazing beauty, one has to do a one-kilometer trek from the nearby resort at Barangay Mailum going to the waterfall.

To reach the waterfall, you have to trek through a dense forest for about 30 minutes to one hour. Enjoy other views as you pass by cornfields, narrow trails and steep cliffs.   Read More:  https://www.choosephilippines.com/go/water-forms/3332/bacagay-waterfall-bago-city-hidden
