Discover the Enchanting Bat-Ongan Cave

Bat-ongan cave has been known for being an enchanted cave.  The shape of this cave is like a mountain rock formation which is about 150 feet in height.  It consists of three entrances and the most reachable entry is the area facing the north.

The cave is located in a mole-like mountain that juts out of the ground in the middle of a large field. Approaching the mountain, its imposing presence gradually looms large, dwarfing the people climbing it and the motorbikes parked at its base. BAT-ONGAN CAVE

Located inland, 1.5 kms. from the national highway in Brgy. Batongan, Batongan Cave is a 150-m. high cave believed to be a crashed meteor. It has seven openings leading to an underground river and prehistoric caves. Inside are two stones which are naturally shaped like an altar and pulpit. A large tunnel inside the cave is connected to another cave in Zapatos Island in Balud.
