If you are coming from Zamboanga International Airport or any point in Zamboanga City, hire a tricycle or a habal-habal to Guiwan Bus Terminal. A good bargain would be between Php50 to Php100 depending from where in the city you are coming from. The terminal is quite far from downtown Zamboanga.

Buses bound for Ipil or Pagadian (will pass by Ipil) can be found at the terminal. Travel time to Ipil is 2.5hrs, Php245.

From the bus stop in Ipil, hire a habal-habal (not a tricycle) to the capitol. Two-way fare should cost less than Php50. Tricycle won’t work since the road going up the capitol is steep.
