Guimaras is a small island province in the Western Visayas.  It is well known particularly for its mangoes, which are considered the sweetest mangoes in the world, thus earning the nickname “Mango Capital of the Philippines” from local and foreign tourists. Reportedly, the mangoes from Guimaras are being served at the White House and at Buckingham Palace. The variety of mangoes produced are also best for making dried mangoes, jam, juice and the latest, chocolate-covered mangoes sold at Costco in the US.
