Tapusan Festival is a festival on the last day of May in Alitatag, Batangas honoring the Holy Cross. The events include oferring of flowers before an old cross in the town church and a colorful procession of the cross, together with other floats carrying other Marian images that are all lighted and decorated with flowers. – en.wikipilipinas.org

Tapusan Festival is a day-long event in Alitagtag town honoring the Holy Cross. A very old cross in the centre of town is festooned with flowers, then mounted on a colourful float and paraded through the town along with images of Mary and other floats. The locals pull these floats along by rope, creating a stimulating atmosphere. – hoteltravel.com
