It is a pleasant, leisurely 20-minute walk through rolling hills carpeted with green grass, under a canopy of tall coconut trees, as one steps off the Bulusan road down to the place. At the site, one finds a man-made earthen swimming pool where the gurgling water flows from just a few feet up the hillside. It is actually just a mini-falls, but the cool spring water is sweet, refreshing and bracing. Available alongside the pool are picnic cottages.

Palogtoc Falls also known as Palogtok Falls. A small waterfalls fills this man-made earthen swimming pool where the gurgling water flows from just a few feet upon the hillside. It is actually just a mini-water fall but the coolness of its spring water is really sweet and refreshing. It can be reached after a 15-20 minutes leisure walk through rolling hills carpeted with green grass under a canopy of tall coconut trees and some pili trees also present along the trail. This is situated within the area of Masacrot Spring – an alternative choice also to suit your taste, just in case. This mini-waterfalls has also an entrance as i remember it was P20/head, but that time we did not pay entrance because we just go their to take some photos for our remembrance. – Read More:  http://greedypeg.org/sorsogon/Palogtoc-Falls-or-Palogtok-Falls.html

The Lonely Planet review of Palogtoc Falls was all praises for the ‘lovely’ nature grotto that is Palogtoc. It missed seeing however the activity frenzy of the place during summer when the local villagers troop to the place to beat the heat.

Local villagers mostly kids, frolicking like mischievous elves in the fairyland ambiance of Palogtoc Falls showed me the real fun of what the place can offer aside from its natural beauty.

Watching  the kids do the plunge, dip, dive , splash and swim in the crystal clear mountain spring waters with the backdrop of the mixed ambient sound of the kids’ excited voices and the sound of the rushing waters of the water falls were enough to fill the day with a dose of freshness.  Read More from:  https://bulusanruralvagabond.wordpress.com/2013/04/23/what-lonely-planet-missed-out-in-palogtoc-falls/
