Blessed. Grateful. Those were the words I uttered while I sat under the trellis beside the glass house in Kublai’s Art Garden. Having the chance to visit this place for the second time is indeed a blessing.

In 2007, Kublai’s Agong House was still a work in progress. Back then, I was blessed to be mentored by Kublai’s dad, Coach Rey, for we were like athletes listening and learning from the Rainmaker. I have come a long way, no longer employed, working 24/7. And that boldness comes from Coach Rey.

Sorry that I get to reminisce, instead of sharing more about Kublai’s Art Garden. The garden showcase the talent of Kublai, and through his art, I felt the serenity that I have within me. That it takes, an artist, through his sculpture, to trigger, the capacity to have serenity and peace.

I cannot speak for others, but I am sharing the my experience, as I walked through the garden. In the heart of Kapatagan, there I found……..PEACE. Read More: http://maiwanderlass.blogspot.com/2016/03/davao-del-sur-kublais-art-garden.html

When I went to Digos City for a 2-day visit, I made it sure that going to Kublai Art Garden aka Agong House by popular artist Kublai Millan (who also made sculptures at People’s Park in Davao City) is part of my itinerary. The said tourist attraction is located in Kinambulan, Brgy. Kapatagan, Digos City, Davao Del Sur, which is 27 Kms away from the city’s center.

Visiting Kublai Art Garden was one of the most surreal experiences I have ever had. Why? It made me feel as if I was in a land of fantasy. It reminded me of some popular magical movies from Disney and The Hobbit. Truly, Kublai’s masterpiece was amazingly unique. I could not help but appreciate how creative and imaginative he was while doing this particular art work; he must be so inspired while doing it then.   Read More:   https://meanttogo.com/kublai-art-garden-agong-house-surreal-place-ever-seen/

Kublai Art Garden in Kapatagan, Davao del Sur, has recently become one of the most popular outdoor adventure destinations for tourists who want to appreciate nature at its finest. With its several delightful sights to see and experience, it is truly a perfect quiet respite from the everyday noise of urban life.

Located at the foot of Mount Apo, the entire valley has lush vegetation with a rich variety of wildlife amid towering forest trees and stately pine trees in a well-manicured grass. It is also blessed with a cool weather comparable to that of Baguio and Bukidnon.

Within the valley, there are a number of beautiful destinations to visit. One of these is the Kublai Art Garden where various sculptures and some art pieces of Mindanaoan artist, Ray Mudjahid “Kublai” Millan, are showcased. Located in a landscape of lush greenery, it has also the Mount Apo, the Philippines’ highest mountain peak, as its backdrop.   Read More:  http://freedom-republic.blogspot.com/2014/08/kublai-art-garden-in-kapatagan.html
