Kaputian was our point of entry to Samal Island from Talicud Island, which are both part of what is commonly known as IGACOS, short for the somewhat long Island Garden City of Samal in Davao Del Norte. Prior to the trip, we thought that the only way to go to Samal Island from Talicud Island is to go back to Sta. Ana wharf in Davao and then take another boat ride to Samal Island. The habal habal driver who took us to Babusanta and Dayang beach the previous day however said that there are available boats that we could charter to take us to Samal island for P300 only and offered to find a boat for us to rent. We would have taken his offer had we not spoken to one of the workers at Isla Reta later that same day and found out that there are actually passenger boats going to Kaputian from Sta. Cruz wharf. Fare? P20 each only. Sta. Cruz wharf is just 5 minutes walk away from Isla Reta. Read More: https://www.senyorlakwatsero.com/2011/08/30/davao-samal-islands-kaputian-beach-park-resort/

Morning welcomed us with a charming view of the calm sea. It was so inviting that my physically tired body took its path to the shore. I then found myself swimming on the cold pristine waters of Kaputian Beach. I made sure that I’ll swim-to-sawa before I go back to the shore (It was what I failed to do during my first visit because we took the first trip back to Davao). Friends joined me in and we waste the rest of our time swimming and hurdling the gentle waves of the turquoise water of Kaputian beach.

Its been 4 years since my first visit at this resort, there has been a little changes, but the beauty of the beach still remains. I roamed around the entire vicinity to take some photographs before we leave and then whispered to myself “it was a great experience” at last!

Kaputian Beach resort is a great destination if you want a relaxing way to enjoy your vacation with your family and friends. It is just 28kms away from Babak Port or a 40 minutes ferry ride from Sta. Ana wharf of Davao city.  Kaputian Beach resort is waiting for you.  Read More:  http://tibinglakawero.blogspot.com/2013/09/mc-diaries-road-trip-to-kaputian-beach.html
