Another best beach resort located in Talicud Island is Isla Reta Beach Resort.. Talikud is a Cebuano term of the “back”, it is so because Talikud island can be seen at the back of Samal island.

There are quite a few restaurants to choose from on this resort so you will never get bored with the dining options. However, it is advisable that you bring your own food. The price is around 50% more than the city rates, maybe because people have no other place to get the food in the area. You can have bountiful lunch at the provided tables with your family and friends.

You can also enjoy strolling to the rocky portion of the island, it has more coral and fish compared to other public areas. With your snorkeling gear, you can witness the young coral and the various marine life living there. Sea urchins present on the beach might spoiled your fun, just keep your feet away from them.

The seashore of Isla Reta beach resort holds a potent lure for the sun bathers. You can either sleep on tent, on small huts, or in a hammock hang in between the trees for relaxing afternoon siesta.

The Isla Reta is behind a small village, still, there are regular trips for tourists and travelers up to 3pm. It only takes a ten-minute boat ride to reach Samal Island, plus it takes around 30 to 45 minutes trip to Talikud island. Talikud Island is another nearby island in Samal. Also packed with beautiful and peaceful serene beaches is a place to visit on hot summer days.

Famous for its untouched sea kingdom is Isla Reta Beach Resort. A diver’s paradise it is! According to some divers who went there, “one must come and see for themselves a nature beneath the surface of the earth”. Divers will have a one of a kind diving sensation as they plunge into the depths of its crystal clear waters.

Like any other resorts around the island, Isla Reta Beach Resort takes pride with the natural corals that pops up anywhere beside its shores. Walking along the sea shore is quite a peaceful moment but I bet you’ll spoil your moment when you walk along their shores since sea urchins are just around the corner unnoticeably wailing theirs stings. So if you plan to walk around the shore, wear your sandals to refrain from the Sea Urchin’s sting.

With your snorkeling gear, corals are best seen in their territory. So soak up in water and see for yourself the baby chorals flourishing in their utmost regent forms. So with the marine creatures that will awestruck you as you hold them.  Read More:  http://www.samalguide.com/resort/isla-reta-beach-resort/

Talikud Island is part of the Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS), Davao del Norte that lies in the Davao Gulf. The less developed island can be reached by boat ride from Sta. Ana wharf daily at 8 o’clock in the morning. It only takes an hour trip to the island.

This small island fascinated the locals and tourists with its emerald green water and its powdery white sand beaches, no wonder it is called as the Virgin Sea Kingdom of the South. It is very well known among Davaoeños spirited holiday makers.

One of its finest beaches is the Isla Reta Beach Resort. The beautiful and peaceful serene place packed with long white shore and bracing shades of Talisay trees, is a perfect destination for getaway.

It is also a divers’ paradise, with its protected coral garden and fish sanctuaries. It provides unlimited views underneath the water. Grab your goggles or your snorkeling gear to leisurely wander to the vast sea treasure. But beware for the marine protectors are strictly observing ordinances.  Read More:  https://thedailyroar.com/travel/the-treasure-of-isla-reta-beach-resort-talikud-island/
