Samal Island is one city that offers beach resorts and recreation area where everyone will have a real and unique bond with nature. To be one with the mother earth is to plunge into its realms so we can feel its natural soothing comfort. Samal Island is a place if you want your soul to be still.

Chema’s by the Sea Beach Resort is the simplest place I’ve been through in Samal. Simplicity is beauty as many defies it. And Chema’s is one great place to suffice you with the authentic beauty of nature. It was maintained just the way it is. One thing that makes Chema’s a simple yet elegant resort is its landscape. It was filled with dead corals and some hard wood. The landscape made Chema’s a resort by the sea it is. The theme was just right for the place or shall I say kudos for the founder of the resort. The name really described the area or the resort magnificently. It’s like pulling off the water from the sea and tsaaran! There is Chema’s by the Sea Beach Resort. Read More:

Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, and Davao have highly urbanized centers with malls and shops. The ambiance is Quezon City or Las Piñas, but with more trees. Everything is so clean. The roads are well-paved. Many of the cars tooling about on the roads are late models. The area looks prosperous and developed, but still closer to nature than Manila.

So close, in fact, that the beaches on Samal Island are a mere half-hour away from Davao city proper, including a banca ride across a stretch of sea. At Chema’s by the Sea, a private garden resort on the island, a pocket white sand beach and saltwater infinity pool invite relaxation, as the wide-spreading branches of talisay trees provide shade.

SMART’s 3G signal is fairly strong; I can imagine myself filing my MST columns from there, toes in the sand and drink in hand, cackling evilly while my editors hunch over their keyboards in their cramped windowless offices in Makati.

I now know where I’m going to build my retirement cottage.  Read More:

Designed to provide utmost relaxation, Chema’s by the Sea is a welcome respite in the beautiful island garden of Samal in Davao City.

Chema’s by the Sea is located in a sprawling, prime location in Samal Island. It takes about 20 minutes to travel from the Francisco Bangoy International Airport by car to the water dock beside the Waterfront Insular Hotel, where the resort’s shuttle boat services are available. The boat ride to the resort takes about 10 minutes. Reservations for the boat services are required.

Chema’s by the Sea is a haven for those who seek privacy. Its architectures and decors are a fusion of Asian and European influences. The resort features an outdoor infinity pool with a spectacular view of the beach, and a restaurant serving appetizing local and international dishes. While you’re there, the hotel’s well-trained and dedicated staff will provide you with top-notch services to make your stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible.  Read More:
