Just five kilometers from the downtown, Bonbon Beach is perhaps the most beautiful and popular beach in the island. Located in Barangay Lonos, Bonbon is a privately owned white sandy beach on a gradually sloping seafront that stretches up to approximately two kilometers. It is linked to an uninhabited Bang-og Island by a sandbar that is submerged on a knee to chest deep water during high tide.

It is a bare beach – no resort nor other commercial amenities. Just pure sand, turquoise water, fantastic view of the Tablas Island, beautiful sunset and the typical rural beach life. Since it is a private property, you need to ask permission if you have plan of camping in the area. Read More: http://www.lakwatsero.com/spots/the-beaches-of-romblon-island/

A beautiful beach on Romblon Island. A long sandbar connects the beach with a nearby island (Bangug Island). During low tide you can walk over. Just make sure you return before the tide comes back. The northern part of the beach is a great place for scuba diving and snorkeling. You find many marine species and healthy corals. The south side of the beach is protected by the sandbar. It is a perfect place to swim or to chill in the water. Make sure you enter directly from the provincial road as the property is private and the owners won’t allow trespassing.
