Though it is possible to take a short boat ride along Aurora?s rough coastal waters, hiking to Dicasalarin is the way to go. There are two ways to get to Baler; by private vehicle or by public transportation. Using your own car, travel time is around 4-5 hours. The fastest way is through NLEX and SCTEX. Exit at Mabalacat toll gate (NLEX) and at Lapaz (SCTEX). Take right turn and drive to Cabanatuan City. Once there, take the Nueva Ecija –Aurora highway. There are a lot of signs that will help you find Baler easier.

The only bus line that offers direct route from Manila to Baler is Genesis Transport. Their terminal is located along Edsa in Cubao, Quezon City. One-way fare for the regular bus is P404. However, if you want to travel in style and comfort, you may opt for Joybus de Baler. For P650, you’ll get free snacks, free Wi-Fi, and free blankets and pillows.
