Behind a pair of grey gates along a dusty and bumpy road somewhere in Tagaytay lies a haven for floral lovers. The Flower Farm opens its gates to those who would love to have a glimpse of over a hundred varieties of vibrantly colored flowers.

The Flower Farm Corporation is one of the largest professional flower growers in the country. It also pioneered the introduction of modern flower varieties and floral arrangement designs, styles and trends in the county. It first opened back in 1984 as a result of a passion for flowers that soon ventured into an enterprise. The farm has harvested millions of flowers and foliage through the years has grown into providing beautiful arrangements and bouquets for over twenty years. The farm currently sits on a seven hectare-land with 15 greenhouses dedicated to chrysanthemums, gerberas and vast greenery.

The Flower Farm is located at Barrio Ginhawa in Tagaytay City. To get there, make a right turn at Maglabe Drive from Aguinaldo Highway and watch out for the tall signpost right before the radar compound signaling directions to the farm. Let your Tagaytay visit bloom even more with a spectacular visit to flower haven.  Read More:  http://cushtravel.com/a-blooming-day-at-the-flower-farm/

Nestled in Tagaytay, The Flower Farm supplies a large portion of all the fresh flowers sold in Metro Manila. Their flowers, mostly mums and gerberas of all colors, are more beautiful than most. I expected to see rows of plants outdoors. What I found was a high-tech facility in action: fully enclosed greenhouses, automated irrigation & feeding, and full light and climate control. More control means they can pamper their plants and time their blooms for the most important flower-giving days of the year. You have to see it to believe it. – pbase.com

Explore the lush seven-hectare farm situated in the cool mountains of Tagaytay during the Country Fair. The Flower Farm houses over hundred varieties of vibrantly colored cutflowers, plants, herbs, and trees that range from pine, teak santostemon, golden and green melaluca, to Australian fern.

Among the activities that Country Fair visitors can look forward to include shopping for a wide variety of potted plants, organic vegetables and herbs, and freshly harvested gerberas and chrysanthemums; as well as handcrafted gift items and home accessories from local artisans and merchants.

Delightful food selections and refreshments from Via Mare and other concessionaires will also be available throughout the day.

Flower arrangement, dish garden design, and gardening demonstrations are scheduled to help nurture any budding green thumb. There’s even a mini al fresco painting session with participating artists.

In addition to all of these, The Flower Farm Country Fair presents moms with an opportunity to join make-over sessions with top make-up artists Lindsay Sun-Bustamante, who will be sharing tips on how moms can get a fresh and updated look in time for their special day.
