Take an environmental tour to one of a kind place called Hidden Valley. It is well preserved and its vegetation was protected and flourishes in a 300 deep crater that covers an area of almost 110 hectares. It is a secluded spot located between two mystical mountains that are rich in folklores. Hidden Valley is a place that is blessed with nature’s invigorating gifts of water, flowers, trees and beautiful scenery and a habitat for rare plants and animals.

Hidden Valley Springs is located in Alaminos, Laguna between Mount Banahaw and Mount Makiling. It is just one hour and a half drive from Manila approximately 75 kilometers south of Makati. From Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway to Batangas and Lucena exit and head towards Batangas. Turn left upon reaching Junction Inn Mansion. Reaching the Y intersection, take the left lane going to Alaminos. Upon seeing the hidden valley sign, it is just 4.5kms away. Pass by the Rural Bank of Alaminos, then the Alaminos Church. Behind the church, turn left and follow signs to the resort about 4 kms.

Forest and fauna thrived at Hidden Valley untouched by typhoons that visit the area yearly. In the middle of the spring, a small waterfall can be seen, while several streams with clear waters (clear enough for drinking), fed several man made pools.

There are over 350 establishments in the area which makes it no problem for leisure activities throughout the year. Hidden valley’s main attraction is a body of waterfalls, natural springs and pools. Take a dip in the cool waters that constantly flows from the mountaintop. A warm, natural spring pool and a soda pool can be found in the Hidden Valley too.

Discover the Lovers pool. It is the most secluded pool in the area that is an interesting attraction in the place for honeymooners. It is hidden that one may not notice it as they pass by the place. Its pools can be reached by carefully walking your way down a narrow trail nearly one half kilometer.

Another cool feature is the Sada pool, the coolest among the pools. The spring has a forceful water flow that one only needs to get underneath the water to get a massage the same as the European spa experience. Its twin springs give a choice between cool and warm water.

Hidden valley is warm all year round because of its high mountains’ protecting it from harsh stormy weather. These mountains also serve as a natural barriers to the direct heat of the sun. This makes the valley attractive to the visitors during the day because they can romp around bare footed, a natural wonderland.
